Thank You All~
I had written a long post here, but then blogger lost it. Some kernel thang. Damn corn! I want to thank everyone for their condolences. It's greatly appreciated. It was wonderful being able to talk to some of my online fiends the other night on AIM and in Slack and you've all been very supportive. Thank you again. I don't know if you've read the comments under my last post, but I got more details on the accident, and it's even more bizarre than ever. We went out to the site on Sunday and the edges were so unstable I nearly fell in myself. I finally snapped out of my numbness and broke down yesterday. It was his b-day just a couple weeks ago, and we got him a physics/astronomy book, and I guess he read it straight thru in one afternoon because he liked it so much. That makes me really happy. Due to a medical condition, I cannot attend the visitation tonight, but will attend tomorrow's visitation and funeral and hope I don't keel over. More on that some other time. I just want to get this done before I lose my post again!
I just wanted to thank all of you for your support and condolences and let you know that it means a lot to Mr. H. and I. (Even tho Mr. H. doesn't know you, he appreciates it as well!) Thank you all...

~Tragedy in the Family~
I'll be taking some time off from my blog. Today Mr. Hype's father was killed in a freak accident. They live out in the country, and he was burning some brush. He had Parkinson's Disease, and he lost his balance, fell in and burned to death. Apparently, Mr. H.'s mother thought it was taking him a long time, so she went out there and saw him burned in the fire. (How long I don't know. I have yet to get the details as I haven't spoken to anyone who knows anything in detail yet.) What a horrible way to go and what a horrible thing to find. And Mr. H. is still in Louisville, KY. Hopefully his boss can get him a flight back tomorrow morning. I had to call him and tell him on the phone. I'm completely numb. Nothing has really sunk in I guess. You just never know what's around the corner... So it goes...

Fresh Air!!! Green Hair....
Salutations everyone! Friday!! w00t! Any minute now Josh... Byrds, if you read this, (I don't think you read my blog no mo' *cries*), from Everdry will be here to check on some problems in our basement. He's pretty hot! *sings* "Matchmaker matchmaker match me a match... find me a find... catch me a catch..." *ahem* back to the post. I hope I hear the doorbell when he gets here, I'm cranking Frank Black rather loudly, as it should be. If the bass doesn't shake the floor, it's not loud enough! Anyhoo, the problems I am having Josh come to look at are not manifesting themselves this morning. :-/ Figures... Ugh... Their office is about 1 1/2 hrs from here, and they're always out on jobs, so it's not like I can call and say "The basement smells like a sewer! Come over now!" . Homeownership... or should I say moneypit ownership... bleah... We're having part of our driveway repaved by a contractor where Everydry tore it up... more $ out the door...
My mom has been staying here this week most the time. She's concerned about me because of this medical issue. It's not like I'm at any risk at the mo., I'm just depressed and Mr. H. is gone and she worries and doesn't want me home alone to sulk and such. Today she had to go back to GB where she volunteers at this retreat farm. Today she's on llama duty! lmmfao! I would LOVE to get a pic of my mom running around a muddy field corralling llamas!!!! That would be so amazing! This morning she was confuzzled about what to wear on llama duty. I told her to find her nastiest clothes and shoes... mudd mudd mudd. Damn that must be a riot to watch! I'm going to have to go and volunteer to work in the kitchen on llama corralling day just to get pics! ;D
Guess what I heard last night! Voltaire! woohoo!!! Brains brains!! :D I love that tune!
Mr. H. will be back Mon. or Tues. I'm looking fwd. to that. I miss him. He called last night and I was sleeping and couldn't talk! He's in Louisville, KY as I mentioned w/a guy from Acme. I don't like the idea of him working w/the supplier of Wile E. Coyote! I guess they have a dump for a hotel, when the convention center they're working at is right across the street! I'd refuse to stay there! I wouldn't last 2 days at Mr. H.'s job. You have to have the patience of a saint. I have the patience of a... non-saint. Well, of an Italian! ;D
Damn!! I lit a candle and put it where my soda usually sits and I almost drank out of the candle! THAT is something I don't ever want to do... I have, however lit my hair on fire in candle accidents two times and had to have emergency hair appointments.
My sister sent me an e-mail... cracked me up! The Jaklynator is repeating everything she hears! She was in bed the other night when Brutus, one of their large dogs, hopped in bed w/her. He isn't allowed. In the middle of the night, my sis woke up to Jakl saying "Damn der! Damn der!" She hasn't figured out "damn it" yet... That's her version. Potty mouth! When she was really young, my sister was changing her diaper, which she hated, and she said "Shit!... Oh maaan!!" Jakl's daddy says "Oh Maaan!" all the time... but how funny on a changing table. She's so cute... when I go see her she wraps her arms around my legs and says "I love you." I can see the joys of being a parent when you see them grow and change. Although I prefer to be "Fair Weather Auntie", (ie: no diaper changing!!!)
Well, gotta go and see how my nation is doing! Have a great weekend all! If I find a cool quiz w/pics, I'll add it. I can't believe no one took my "What kind of Yakuza are you?" except Ade. BTW Yakuza is Japanese Mafia... Some fun quizzes. I adore the tornado pic!!! Hasta la Ciao! Excuse me now I've got a call... I'll take this call from Valhalla...

Circuitry Spiders
I found an article on an incident that happened over a month ago and cracked me up then and just found the LINK here. When I read this I was just rolling. Perhaps most of you have read about it, however I didn't know about the "beer preference" portion. Apparently (and I agree), Busch beer sucks!
Just for fun, I thought I'd put up the link to my nation, Hyperslackovicznia. It really is a fun game! I'm doing my best to become an oppresive dictator. Yeah... I have goals! ;P
Today we're going to The Mucky Duck on the riverfront for lunch, and I'm having scallops (full of mercury no doubt), but they're tasty!!!
Other than that, I'm rather preoccupied, so my posts are mundaning up my blog. Hopefully in 2 weeks or so, I'll be back to "normal" *snickers*...

I Think I'm Becoming Dyslexic
I couldn't even log on twice because I kept switching letters around. EEEK!
Not a lot new, at least not anything I want to really talk about at this point. They dropped the prereq so I got into my Amcn Indian Mythology Lit class! I'm really happy about that. There's something weird about starting your semester in Dec. tho! Good excuse to avoid Christmas stuff... :-X I'm going to apply for financial aid as well. If I get grants, cool, but I won't take out loans... NO WAY! Debt sucks!
Mr. H. is in Louisville until next Monday or Tuesday, so I've had a lot of time on my hands, well, all I do is mostly sleep anyway. I've recently found out that this is due to a possibly serious medical condition. Or it might not be serious, but it's there. My little one sentence rant: I can't stand that as soon as one condition is diagnosed and semi-treated another one pops up! >-(
I'll probably spend some time @ my mom's while Todd is gone. They moved my MRI to Thurs., and it's in GB, so I suppose I'll stay over Wed. or Fri.
Soz for the bland post. I just woke up, and I'm wiped out right now. Maybe I'll actually post something interesting in the next few weeks!

HAD to Post This One!!!
I HAD to post the following quiz... I don't know what the other results are on this quiz, but I thought it would be fun, and wouldn't you know, I got the one storm I've been obsessed with since I was a kid! (Pretty accurate too!)
Your a tornado! One of the most terrifying of natural disasters, you completely obliterate everything in your path. People are fascinated by you and are always trying to get to know you. I love tornadoes...go you!
What Natural Disaster Are You? (great pics)--heaps of outcomes :) brought to you by Quizilla
I also found this, thinking I'd get something sweet and nice... hmmmm??!!
You are the Devil card. The Devil is based on the figure Pan, Lord of the Dance. The earthy physicality of the devil breeds lust. The devil's call to return to primal instincts often creates conflict in a society in which many of these instincts must be kept under control. Challenges posed by our physical bodies can be overcome by strength in the mental, emotional, and spiritual realms. Pan is also a symbol of enjoyment and rules our material creativity. The devil knows physical pleasure and how to manipulate the physical world. Material creativity finds its output in such things as dance, pottery, gardening, and sex. The self-actualized person is able to accept the sensuality and usefulness of the devil's gifts while remaining in control of any darker urges. And I Don't Want it--the Things You're Offering Me... Symbolized Barcode Quick ID Oh Yeah...
Oh how fun! I just read Liz's short story w/Flem as Juanita! LOVED IT! I'm Andrea in her next short story! Liz is really an amazing writer.
Yesterday was pure hell... Worst migraine I've had in years. I'm usually in the hospital when they're that bad. I spent the day taking meds, all the blinds closed, and I had to use ear plugs because I couldn't stand the sound of the clock ticking... I don't even want to think about it.
On a happy note... my new puter came! When the UPS dude showed up, it was completely dark in the house, I was wearing sunglasses. (The pain had lessened enough that I could get rid of the blindfold.) I explained I wasn't a vampire but had a migraine. :-P He looked at me weird... It'll be a while before it's hooked up because of Mr. Hype's work schedule. I still have no clue as to how to save Outlook Express to a USB to transfer it, but Milo was in chat and gave me some sites... :D Nothing like those Linus and Eunichs 1337s to help out in these situations!
I FINALLY got into chat last night and had a great time! So many people I haven't seen in eons! I think I'll go in tonight as well, provided I'm feeling OK, as Mr. H. is working late. I really had fun chatting w/ everyone.
Today we're supposed to have mega t-storms. (Well, you know how that goes. Maybe we will...lol!) I'm sorta in the mood for a good storm. The lawn needs it.
Oh! Three bands I adore are coming to Mke next month and I can't decide which to see: Social Distortion, who I've seen. (I met the lead singer, Mike Ness about 13 yrs ago!), Ministry, who I've seen at Lolla, and Bad religion, whom I adore and haven't seen. I think Bad religion will be the winner, although I want to see all three. Mr. Hype doesn't want to go to any of them... lol! He's had some bad experiences at the venue we're going to. Us getting separated at the beginning of a show and not finding each other until well after and such. (All he had to do was check the bar to find me!) He ended up dodging morons vomiting all over... bleah. So I think I'll surprise him w/Bad religion tickets. Or should I say, disappoint him w/Bad religion tickets? I really want to see them all. I'm going to check the ticket prices. Maybe we can go to a couple. I haven't seen any bands this year, so I'm overdue! And the Pixies are out of the question due to the price of tickets.
Found some quizzes, and hopefully the pics fit!
YOU ARE THE MOST LOYAL AND TOUGHEST OF THEM ALL..YOU STARE DOWN OPPOSERS AND MEET YOUR CHALLENGES WITH UNSCARED EYES... with all your work and struggle you become the Oyabun(Godfather) and lead to a new revolution in the Mafia world.

It's Tricky to Rock and Rhyme to Rock and Rhyme That's Right on Time... It's Tricky... It's Tricky...
Saturday I went to my mom's to see my sis and the Jaklynator. I got Jakl a Packer football balloon (no comments Vik fans!). When the woman was filling up the balloon, she asked, "So, who do you think will win?" I'm like "Oh? There's a game? When, tomorrow?" And Miss QueenIKnowEverythingAboutThePackers standing behind me said it was Monday night. I said "Oh... well this is for my niece.", while the former Miss Queen looked at me like I burned a flag in her face. They had those and b-day balloons and my sis is a huge Packer fan, despite living in a suburb of Chicago. One of her dogs is even named Lambeau. And Jakl LOVES balloons! So I brought it up there and she loved it of course. She called it her "foot team balloon", and was all excited to take it home and have it out while watching the game w/my sis. (My bro-in-law isn't into football. I guess he usually falls asleep during games... I can relate... Sometimes I'm into it, sometimes not...) So, apparently the Pack won last night... Woohooo! :-D I still like when my hometown team wins.
I wasn't at my mom's for long, but while I was there, we watched "The Cat in the Hat". I forgot how addicting Iambic Pentameter is. Although what sticks in my head is "moss covered three handled family gredunza", which I will probably never forget again. It was fun though. Jakl was so cute as always. She hugs my legs and says she loves me :D ... I bring her a balloon every time I see her, and she now says I live in a balloon factory! lol!
Short blurb on this. I haven't been well in a million ways, thus the sporadic and odd blogging. I'm doing this now w/a mega-migraine. (Why might you ask... dunno... just wanted to. I used to go to the ER w/migraines this bad.) Anyhoo, I'm wearing my sunglasses right now. I haven't had to wear sunglasses inside in years. Plus several medications, so it isn't as bad as when I woke up. I've got some other issues going on, but I won't go into it much as it's boring to read about. Bluey left me a message on my machine last night about how everyone was in chat. I was sleeping when she called and when I got up, I felt so crappy, I knew I wouldn't be able to participate in any convo, and I fell back asleep. So, I do Nessa's favorite thing a lot!!! (Not be ill... SLEEP!) ;D I hate missing out on the chats tho. I miss everyone. :-(
You Jinxers/Slackers who haven't joined Jennifer Gov't need to! It's a blast!!! You create your own nation and we're all in the region of Slackervania (Grimm started it.) Go HERE to get into the game!! It's fun seeing how your nation evolves. It's the first interactive online game I've played and I love it!
I'm quite sure I had other things to blog about, but as usual, cannot remember. Oooh... my head is feeling a bit better! AND... Mr. Hype found my rogue sock! Woohoo!!!!

Things That Make You Go "HMMMMM?"...
TRUE STORY: Near where my dad lives, a man was shot by his dog. He deserved it too. Apparently the dog had puppies, and the guy couldn't manage to "get rid of them", so he decided to shoot them. SICKO!! Anyway, he shot a few of the puppies, :-( and he was holding one of them up to shoot it, and the mother dog somehow pulled (or stepped on) the trigger w/her paw and shot the guy in the foot! I tried to call my dad today to ask him some of the details, because I forgot, but it's all true. Can you imagine going to the ER saying "My dog shot me"? lmmfao! Hopefully he will also be charged with animal abuse, which is likely. There IS the Humane Society for God's sake! He could have given them away there. Anyhoo, I think this dog was perfectly right to shoot her owner. She should have shot him in a nastier place than the foot, in my opinion.
I'm just about out the door to go to my mom's and see the Jaklynator! Yay!!! I talked to her on the phone this morning and she was so cute! :D I'm going to stop and pick up a cool balloon for her first. She adores balloons!
I found this quiz on Quizzilla, but I dispute the results, as I am clearly a MODERATE not a liberal, but based on the questions, I suppose it would come out that way. Enjoy!

I Don't Know Where I Am... But I Know Who You Are...
Salutations all! Happy news here! shhhh... don't want the 'geists to catch on... I ordered a new puter!!! WOOHOO!!! DUDE I GOT A DELL! Big free upgrades... Sale ended yesterday. The 8400 model... Couldn't afford the extra for a cool flat screen monitor, but this is 3Ghz, 1Ghz mem, blah blah blah... I still have to figure out how to save my Outlook Express (which won't save or be transferred to regular Outlook so it can be transferred to a USB drive to transfer it to the new puter). I'm expecting to lose data and programs... All that crap irritates me. Installing all the programs over, etc. I got XP Professional for OS. It's also black! *grins*. Perhaps I should have an exorcism to get rid of the 'geists from this puter before I bring the new one into the house. *yells* "The power of Christ compels you!" ;D
Today is Mr. H.'s b-day. I'm getting him the LOTR ROTK DVD. He really wants that. (Yay! Subtitles!) I might already have a b-day card for him. I'll have to go thru the stack of cards I bought in advance for various occasions... Tomorrow is my father in law's b-day, so I'm making dinner Sunday to celebrate both their b-days. (Unless I'm too wiped out, then we'll order out...) I am thinking I may very well have EB again. :-/
I get to go to GB for an appt. today. I hope I don't fall asleep on the road. I'll just crank the music and hope that works.
I bought some jeans thru the mail and I have some bootcut, but these are like 1960's or 70's flares! They're from Victoria's Secret. I buy a lot of clothes there. They're not just for underwear anymore! :P I am just sort of weirded out looking at these. (I'm wearing them now... Weird...) I also bought my entire family their Christmas presents! I got a mail order catalog w/tons of cool calendars in it, so I ordered everyone a calendar w/a theme that interests each particular person. I personally wanted 3 for myself... *ahem* I settled on "Severe Storms" for myself. :D
And... The weather has been great here the past few days! And no Asian beetles!

The Way It Should Be...
THIS is where Vlad Putin rocks. This whole situation has made me ill as hell and I applaud the way he deals w/terrorists. Anyone w/a brain knows YOU DON'T NEGOTIATE W/TERRORISTS!!! It only encourages more of the same. If they don't get what they want, their motivation for such horrific actions decreases. If you haven't read about this, I encourage you to do so. I think Putin did a great job with the theater hostage crisis a while back. Yes, many died, but I bet more would have in both cases had immediate action not been taken. I know if one of my loved ones was a hostage, I would want negotiations, but the truth is these monsters don't think the way we do, and there is no guarantee that the hostages would be let out anyway. To give in to terror is to increase it so that it rules the world... These are fundamentalist freaks who don't care if they die, so any hostages are as worthwhile as dirt to them. If I was a hostage in that situation, I would want the place stormed ASAP. These monsters need to learn that they won't get what they want by committing such heinous acts. *steps off soap box* Perhaps I'll post something lighter later on, but I just read this article and had been reading about it all weekend and getting more and more disgusted.
Wouldn't it be cool to be a superhero and be able to just barge in and use your super powers to end such situations w/out killing innocent people? That's what I wanna be when I grow up!!!! ;D
Hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend! If you haven't taken the Spirit Guide quiz in my last post, do so... and post what you got!!! I thought that was a cool quiz!

Happy Labor Day Weekend!!!
I tried to post this yesterday, but blogger wouldn't let me. >-( It's been all wonky on me. I may be getting the puter of my dreams very soon! This one is history... I plan to stomp it to pieces in the back yard a'la the Office Space fax machine, and hopefully the 'geists go w/it. I wish we were doing something fun, but we'll be cleaning up concrete dust for a while... At least Mr. H. is home for 3 days! YAY! His b-day is the 9th. Glad someone reminded me. *guilty look* I'm going to get him ROTK on DVD. He said he wants that and it doesn't cost a fortune, so that's cool. Have a great LD weekend all!!
