Despite The Cost Of Living, Have You Noticed How It Remains So Popular?
Just a quick update... We're going grocery shopping in a little bit. Thursday afternoon I went to GB, and found a piece of furniture to replace that aesthetically challenged piece of garbage that fell apart. And it's black! It's the only one I've seen anywhere that is black. I really wanted black, as it goes much better w/the artwork and such in the dining room, and eventually I want to decorate w/a Japanese theme w/black accents, so I'm pretty happy. Solid wood too! I'm so glad I didn't get that mangled thang at WG&R.
Again, I had insomnia... BAH!!!! I should be used to walking around in a weird slightly "awake daze". The med I take for my EB/CFS to keep me awake does keep me awake when I don't sleep, however, it's a bit different than if I actually slept. I hope the people giving this stuff to fighter pilots to stay awake days at a time know that it's a little different than REAL sleep! Maybe I'll sleep tonight...
This morning Mr. Hype got up and went into the basement and the boom box on top of the refrigerator was on. One of the cats turned it on during the night! lmao! Whichever one did it must have jumped a mile when it started blaring! :P Maybe more l8r...

Don't Trust The Government! George Bush IS EEEE- VILLLL!!!
OK, I never liked the guy to begin with, but the realization of the debacle that is/was his domestic policy is really sinking in now... He is now officially on my Axis of Evil! (It keeps getting bigger, now doesn't it!) God, I pray he doesn't get elected again! All of you make sure you vote... And DON'T vote for that brainless freak!!!!! (W, that is!)

If The Shoe Fits... Get Another One Just Like It...
I still didn't get enough sleep... BOOOO! And, I still haven't studied... I have two weeks to get it done because my first exam is on the 11th. Bleah...
Yesterday, Mr. Hype brought home dinner from the Osthoff (a resort where he was working). It was all this gourmet stuff... Bizarre toppings on bruschetta and such... I didn't care for a lot of it, but the French onion soup was great! I have to go grocery shopping, probably today. We don't have much food around here right now.
I'm supposed to go to GB to look at furniture this afternoon, but I think I'm too tired and I might just skip that. I'm also not going to see Jakl this weekend, but going for a couple days next week instead. (Maybe I'll bring my book to study? OF COURSE NOT!!!!)
I guess I'm too tired to post anything more... *zzzzzzzzzz*

Everyone Has A Photographic Memory... Some Don't Have Film...
Wednesday! Since I have been studying the way I used to when I was in college in the 80's (Yeah, that makes me older than all of you! :P If you're lucky, you'll all get older too... Gotta see it that way! Hell, I never thought I'd make it past 30, so, well, yeah! Yay for me!), which means I haven't touched the stuff in over a week, I think I'll get at it today when I'm done procrastinating. I do some, then ignore it for a long time. At least I'm not leaving it for the last minute. (I hope...)
My mom came down yesterday and we went shopping for a piece of furniture to replace the one that died last week. We first went to WG&R, and I found something just about perfect, however it was on clearance from the floor, and it was damaged slightly in places. You can't really tell, because it's very dark wood that is distressed. They had it marked down $100, but I wanted them to take more off and they wouldn't. So we went to some other furniture stores. I'm not looking for the ideal piece, as that would be too expensive... just something for the interim. Interim Furniture. (?) I found one other piece at another place... It was pretty nice but had no hardware because it was a prototype for Crate & Barrel. They said we could buy the hardware and pay to have it installed, but it was already $1000 and I'm not looking in THAT price range for now. I just want something to stick over there that isn't hideous that has the storage I need. My mom is checking some places in GB today to see if there is anything viable up there. If not, I'll probably get the slightly damaged (a little crack here and there, that you can't really see unless you crawl on the floor and examine it closely) one from WG&R, should it still be there.
When we went to look at Younkers (they had NOTHING!), I bought a pair of jeans. I went down a size again... :-/ I just wonder where my weight will stabilize, or when. I seriously doubt I will lose anymore. How could I w/the way I eat!? Speaking of eating, we got take-out from Il Ritrovo. It was super good! They're one of the very few certified wood pizza oven restaurants in the country. My mom got a pizza w/marinara sauce, olive oil, garlic and oregano. (No cheese). Very simple but soooo good!!!! They make their pizza crust thinner than anything I've ever seen anywhere else, and it isn't all dry and hard either. If you piled 8 pieces on top of each other, you MIGHT get the thickness of one piece of thick Pizza Hut pizza. It's so great! (And I'm kind of a thick crust person, but I'll take this over thick any day!) I got my usual Pomodori Misti e Gorgonzola salad, which is amazing. I get that all the time. All kinds of greens (weird ones!), tomatoes, onions, gorgonzola, prosciutto, and oil and 25 year old balsamic vinegar dressing... YUM! And my mom wanted Biscotti, so we got some of their home made and it was really good too! I also picked up some imported canned cherry tomatoes. (From Italy... If you haven't figured out this is an Italian restaurant!). The imported are way better than anything from the grocery store! So then I ate like a fiend! :D
I was so tired because I didn't get much sleep the night before, so I tried to crash at like 8:00 but I kept getting up and meandering around the house for a bit, and then try to sleep again. I didn't sleep well again, but I managed to get back to sleep at 7:00am this morn for a couple hours, so I'm not completely dead like yesterday.
I guess I should stop writing a novel now. (My way of procrastinating more...) Guess I'll go study... Bleah...

A Day Without Sunshine Is Like, Well... Night...
Had an OK weekend, I guess... Sat. we went out w/the in-laws to this place called the Mucky Duck for lunch. I really like their food. I had orange roughy (pretty much my fav. fish), so maybe I'm all full of mercury now. :-/ It's really ugly outside right now. It snowed a little last night and we're supposed to get more today, but I think it will rain instead... I'm keeping the blinds closed because I don't want to look at the gloominess.
On the brighter side, I'm most likely going to my sister's this coming weekend and I'll be seeing the Jaklynator finally! I haven't seen her since early Dec. I think. I'm looking forward to it.
And... Gaz has been saying that I look like the aunt from My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I'm a bit curious for two reasons:
1. I have never seen the movie and have no clue what he is referring to.
2. Gaz doesn't know what I look like! *grins* I sent him a profile pic of my face and hair, when my old stylist put my hair up really funky one night before we all went out and that was Nov. 2K2 and you can't REALLY tell what I look like from a close side profile of my head, and I also don't look anything like that pic anymore... ;D So if she's some chick w/a funky updo, well, that's NOT what I look like! (I also don't have the fuschia in my hair anymore... :P )

What CD Should I Buy? I Need Recommendations!!
Happy Dappy Friday everyone... I thought I'd blog before getting to some other crapola I have to do. This morn. I got to vacuum up more shards of glass and thankfully last night Mr. Hype tore down that freaky piece of furniture and took it to the garage to go to the dump. I'm hoping to find something to replace it soon. It seems like everything around here has been falling apart over the last year and a half.
MY QUESTION: I want to get some music but I don't know what to get. I don't even have anything in mind. I have a ton of music, but have been stuck on the Screaming Trees, Ministry, Korn, Alice in Chains, and The Damned for a while now. I just really like them so I haven't been listening to much else. I like music from all genres so I would appreciate any suggestions as to what is good and more on the new side. I haven't listened to much new music in a while, because the so-called "alternative" rock, really isn't, and about 70% of it sounds the same. As far as jazz, that's probably what I should be listening to, to put me in a better mood... but NOT Chicago or Peter Cetera. I went thru a big phase of listening to them all the time in my first year of high school, and I'm just not into that anymore... Suggestions please! I need music that will cheer me up or something. I've been quite depressed lately. Depressed is a word I don't throw around casually. I think it means something different to me than to most who may read this, but I may be wrong, so who knows... Maybe I'll blog about it sometime. Anyhoo, I'll try not to mope anymore! *grins* Have a wonderful weekend all!

A Bad Day All Around
Ugh... Not the best day in the world so far. I actually got to my taped lectures this morning. These lectures are unreal! He obviously didn't tape them in front of a class, as he talks about twice the speed of any normal person, so each hour lecture is more like anyone else's two hour lecture. About one minute into the first tape, my boom box ate it... I pulled it out and it was all mangled and shriveled and I just wound it back up tight. I went into the basement and got a small stereo which sucked 'cause the speakers aren't attached and also don't detach from the back, so I had to balance the speakers on top of each other and then on top of the receiver and take it upstairs that way. I put the tape in that one and just started from where I wound it up. When I got to side two it played ok, so that's a good thing, as there is a fine for returning a damaged tape. I had to take music breaks, as I was sick to death of Elvis, Bill Haley, etc. I listened to Korn every now and then for a break and to wake me up. Just a while ago, I decided to put a floor lamp in the dining room. I tried to pull this large... umm... sideboard type thingy that holds our dvds and a lot of tapes and whatnot away from the window to get to the outlet. I have (had) a LOT of glass on top... glass flowers in glass vases, a real plant, etc. The bottom gave away in front and all the glass hit the floor and smashed up. My real plant didn't take the dive thank God, because that would have been a nasty mess. So I vacuumed everything up (I think... every time I go back in there I see more shards...), and now I have to wait for Mr. Hype to get home so we can figure out where to put everything that was inside it, and then take the remains outside. It was garbage day today, so that will have to sit out another week. I think I got small shards of glass in my finger and my forearm when I vacuumed, as stuff sometimes shoots up. I'm not going to do much else today because I think my day is cursed or something... *cries*

The Lesser Of Two Evils And The Evil Of Two Lessers...
Greetings! We had our dem. primary yesterday, but I was far too tired to go and vote. Kerry won anyhoo, and that's who I was going to vote for. I never really like ANY of the candidates. There's always some big flaw in their platform that makes me not want to vote for any of them. So I vote for the lesser of two evils... (Or in the case of the dem. primary, it would have been the lesser of a lot of evils...) Bleah... How sucky is that... There is never any candidate I am comfortable with. Kerry has a freakishly liberal past, and there is cause to be concerned about national security should he become president. *sigh*
I was in the car and listening to Fred today, and an old Ministry song came on. I remember listening to them years ago when that stuff was first out. That band has changed so dramatically. They used to be a techno-dance band and now they are hardcore industrial. And both incarnations sound fantastic! If you don't know their music and heard a song of theirs from the early 80s and one from the early 90s, you'd NEVER believe it was the same band. I just find that interesting I guess. And for such a dramatic change, they had no problem w/losing credibility. I would venture to guess that those who listened to them in their first incarnation don't listen to their second. However, I like both.
I should go finish my errands and *gasp!* actually get to my lecture tapes... I am praying I will stay awake. Maybe I'll make some tea to help me stay awake. I love green tea!

Those Who Live By The Sword Get Shot By Those Who Don't...
I'm so tired! I didn't get to sleep until about 5:00am last night/morning and I am exhausted today. I'm really in a daze right now... Let's see... what's new? I haven't done any homework/reading/studying in at least a week. I have GOT to catch up on that stuff this week, but it's impossible when I'm tired because it will put me out in about 2 minutes. I did so much cooking and we had so much chocolate around last week that I think I gained about 5 lbs. :-/ (My dad sent me a 2 lb box of meltaways, which are in the safe for now, my mom brought over frosted sugar cookies, and Mr. Hype gave me a meltaway candy bar, and I made a trifle, and... you get the idea.) I used the crockpot yesterday for the first time and made a porkroast and it turned out pretty well. Mr. Hype got me a cute white gold bracelet for Valentines Day. That was really sweet of him. And he took yesterday off of work so we could spend some quality time together. Last night we had some champagne and the liquor store was out of what we usually get, so he got something that was supposed to be even better. I didn't care for it all that much as it wasn't Brut and that's about all I like really, but it was pretty good. He also bought this odd import beer in Milwaukee: Corsendonk Abbey Brownale... Made by monks in Belgium. (As all Belgian beer is!) It came in what looked like a champagne bottle and it was really good! I don't like domestic beer at all, as it all tastes like water to me. (Except for microbrews.) Let's see... I'm having issues w/Evil Incorporated, (my health ins. co.), as usual, and I am only more exhausted after being on the phone for so long with those morons. *sigh... I'm just too tired to think right now...
Oooo! BTW, someone sent me a small snippet about Fred Rodgers' Navy SEAL career, and some other people's military careers... 25 confirmed kills! And we never knew what a badass Mr. Rodgers really was!

Back Up My Hard Drive? I Don't Even Know How To Put It In Reverse!
Soooo... I'm feeling a tad guilty because every day I've been posting how I'm going to study/listen to my lectures. I have done just about NOTHING since Monday or Tues I think? (Well, since the last day that I posted that I did something anyway.) Yesterday, I started taking notes on a particular page and I got 1/4 way thru the page and fell asleep for two hours... :-o I should have studied last night because I had insomnia and it seems to be a good cure.
Gaz got a new puter, and is trying to find his stuff on disk I guess to transfer it? That's what I understand anyway... Maybe I'm missing something, but we always just transferred everything hd to hd... But there must be some reason he isn't, or I'm sure he'd do that 'cause I think it's easier. I'm puter-illiterate so I guess I shouldn't even comment because when I say things like this it makes me sound stupid... Which reminds me... I have a desktop question y'all! I have garbage in my recycle bin. I deleted things yesterday, however when I go to delete the junk in the bin, it says there is nothing there, even tho the icon even shows there is... Any help would be appreciated!
INTERESTING INFO ON FRED RODGERS! (aka "Mr. Rodgers"): Everyone else probably knows about what I'm going to post here, but I had no clue. Mr. Hype heard it on the radio the other day. Mr. Rodgers used to be a Navy SEAL! :-o His chest is/(was) covered w/tattoos and he served in Nam. When he got back, he became a pacifist and vowed never to kill again and then became a minister (I knew about the minister part), and then became "Mr. Rodgers". Navy SEAL?! In Nam? Wow! That's hardcore my friends!!! Who woulda thunk it?!
And then there is Valentines Day... You know... the day we all celebrate the infamous St. Valentines Day Massacre (when Capone's wiseguys gunned down Moran's wiseguys in a warehouse). I have to go out today and find Mr. Hype a Valentines Day pressie... I have no clue what to get him. He won't wear a watch or "guy jewelry" or anything like that. He is soooo not metrosexual! So to get him something that is a traditional gift isn't really possible. Perhaps I will go to our neighborhood geek shop and get him a cool Yu-Gi-Oh card. *slips into geek mode* (Yes, we're still playing that...) But if I get him a cool card and not one for myself he'll totally kick my ass and then I'll be mad, but how nice would a V-day gift be if I got one for myself as well? Maybe I'll do that and get him something else also. I am just at a loss right now. And time is running out...
On those new Quiznos commercials: They are FREAKISHLY weird! What's with the singing distorted rodents? They just look creepy! Rodents and food... yeah, they go together... *confused at the ad agency's intent* I guess the commercial worked tho, 'cause I remember it and I remember the coupon thing, although I won't go there anyhoo...
I made a trifle in my cool trifle dish yesterday. It's almost all gone. I ate a ton of it... I don't think I'll make another one for a while. I made chili the day before, (cut myself on my new Henckels knife, of course), and I think I'm going to make a pork roast in the crockpot this weekend. I never made a porkroast and have never used my crockpot even tho I've had it forever. Bluey sent me a few recipes she found online. One has apple juice in it and that sounds good. The idea of throwing a bunch of junk in the pot in the morning and leaving it and having it done for dinner w/out having to do anything else is quite appealing. Why I haven't used it yet is confusing, even to me.
I guess I shouldn't say that I intend to study today. (I do, but if I say it and don't, I sound like the worst procrastinator ever). In a bit I'm going to go and try to find Mr. Hype a gift... *sigh... I don't even know where to start. Wish me luck!

On The Other Hand, You Have Different Fingers...
Regarding my tagboard: I tried to have Jaz install the usual one and remove this one, but that one won't work for me either, so no tagboard for a while...
OK, so I've been going around to other blogs and posting this morning, very obviously procrastinating getting on to the rest of my reading and lecture junk. How can this be so boring? Maybe the lectures will be super-exciting! (Hope springs eternal...) More l8r if I'm not zoned out from this junk... Onward!

Ben Stein In My Head?!
I'm in the process of attempting to accomplish at least a little bit of my studying... This junk is so ungodly mind-numbingly boring, it's hard to even express it. As I am reading the chapters, the info is somehow being processed so that I hear Ben Stein reading it out loud... :-/ Complete drudgery. I haven't listened to even one of the lecture tapes yet. I am becoming paranoid that when I pop that tape in, the lecturer WILL be Ben Stein! *cries* Such tedious minutiae! I hope this stuff gets better as I get further into the book and start the lectures. I won't take an at-home class ever again. At least if I was in class, I could complain about how boring it is w/the person next to me... Well... Back to Ben...

He's Not Dead... He's Electroencephalographically Challenged...
Sort of a sucky weekend.... I had a migraine Saturday night. I took my pill for it and it helped a little, but it didn't go away. It was gone Sunday morning, but it came back early and I took another pill and it went away, but then it came back in the afternoon, and I took yet ANOTHER pill (Maxalt, btw), and it didn't go away... so that really sucked. I am feeling pressure in my left eye right now and I'm paranoid that it's coming back... *cries*
Saturday night our furnace stopped. It kept tripping the circuit breaker and I'd flip it back on and it would trip, over and over. So we had to put in an emergency call to Furnaceman, who came out and replace a part. Our central air unit died on the hottest day of summer last year, and then our furnace dies at night in the winter. The joys of being a homeowner...
I am trudging thru my book for my class, but I have yet to listen to any lectures. I really need to get thru four of them this week. I'm going to copy the tapes before I send them back so I can refer back to them if I need to. I wish I had an idea of what is considered trivial and unimportant in all of this, because not having a prof to talk to, I feel like I need to memorize everything. Some of this stuff would be easier if I had a piano in front of me to work out what I see on the page... Maybe I can do it w/my bass. It usually frustrates me because my hands are too small for the fretboard, which is really big around, and I have to sit down and set the bass on the floor almost upright like a standing bass so I can get my fingers around the fretboard... :-/ Someday I need to get a more normal bass that I can hold correctly. I have held many people's bass's and mine is the only one w/a too big fretboard! (But it's a very special bass that is supposed to be worth a lot, so I don't want to sell it...)
Tonight I think I'm going to sign onto Pogo. Mr. Hype is in Chicago until tomorrow night, so I don't think I'll have anything better to do tonight. (Unless I have a migraine, which is much more exciting...) I have to sign up for it, and Bluey said she'd help me set up the "friends" thang, and sorta guide me around. Good enough... Although pool on a 'puter just seems wrong to me! :P
I suppose I should go study, but first I'm making a peach trifle! YUM!!! (And I actually have a trifle bowl now!) OOOOO! And I bought some nifty Henckel's knives from my sister!! I'll have to use them today!

Kill 'Em All And Let God Sort 'Em Out!
GRRR... As you might have heard, they found the body of that 11 yr old girl from Sarasota. :-( I am so sick of these FREAKS doing this shit! The life of the bastard who killed her will run a predictable path now: Pricey trial... Death penalty... Fifteen years of appeals, (costing the taxpayers loads of $)... Execution... It actually costs more to sentence someone to death than to life in prison because of all the appeals. Plus he'll have to be in solitary or under guard, because child molesters/killers are preyed upon in prison... AS THEY SHOULD BE!!! Ugh! I could run down a list of guilty as hell people that have trials going on now, and some that have been acquitted but were so guilty it's nauseating, (OJ anyone?), but I won't. I was talking about this w/some people this morning, and it reminded me of a banner in the home of a friend in college. (I always referred to him as "my favorite ex-marine right wing extremist".) It said "Kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out". I always teased him about that, but I'm starting to feel the same way. Criminals have too many rights. This guy who killed the 11 yr old girl should be FRIED! AND in a timely manner... Not after 15 years of useless money-sucking appeals for God's sake! I don't mean electrocuted... I mean FRIED!!! (You know, in a skillet, w/olive oil? Or deep fried in boiling oil?) Perhaps I would make a good executioner. I never considered that as a career. :P GRRR!!! *pant pant pant* :calming down now:
We got a lot of snow last night, but it isn't going to continue thru until Saturday like they planned. Mr. Hype used the snowblower this morning, but ran out of oil, so there are big patches that I have to shovel... Oh JOY! On the bright side, maybe we'll build snow goons tonight! woohooo!!!
Last night Mr. Hype went on a mouse hunt in the basement... Which means he went looking for the kitties' rainbow colored toy mice that they always lose. He only looked under the washer, dryer, and fridge, and found FOURTEEN! lol! Cats have a habit of sticking their toys in places where they have no possible way of retrieving them later. We keep buying package after package of new ones, but now that we have 14 more, maybe we can go a month w/out buying several new packages. Also, I went to put on my boot today, and I felt something in the toe area. I pulled out two of the sparkley balls they play with. Zeros likes to hide the toys from Kuroneko and I'm sure he stashed them there... Silly kitties!
I started reading my book for my class yesterday. This is pathetic, but I got thru the intro, which was all of 6 pages long, and it took me 1/2 hour to take notes! At this rate, I'll be reading this book for YEARS! Part of it is that my printing (I don't write at all ever since the 80's when I took some classes that required precise printing on maps, etc.), is atrocious, and I need to go slower so it's legible. Hopefully I will be able to pick up speed and get thru the rest of it a bit quicker. I still haven't listened to any of the lectures. Off to shovel now...

Good Morning Britain! Nobody Can Believe What The Sun's Gonna Be...
So I messed up w/our weather forecast. The 4" wasn't last night, it's going to happen tonight. And then another 4" before Saturday. 4+4=8 :-( At least Mr. Hype doesn't work at all this weekend. I think overnight on Friday, I'm going to see if he wants to go outside and build snow goons! I loved the snow goons from Calvin and Hobbes!
Mr. Hype is going over to his rents' place to hook up their surround sound system on Sunday, and we were both invited for the afternoon, but I'm not going. I can't sit in that 60 degree house! I was wearing heavy boots last time w/heavy socks and my feet were numb by the time we left! Not to mention two thick wool sweaters and a huge blanket. You'd think they'd turn the temp to something reasonable when people come over... Oh well, if they want to save money that much, they will have to deal with the absence of my witty and sparkling conversation on Sunday. ;D
I had another spazzy breakfast today... A healthy dose of chocolate covered espresso beans. I LOVE those things! My food intake seems to consist of very healthy things, like this spicy bean spinach sauce on wheat pasta that I made last night, and really unhealthy things like today's breakfast. I've lost a good amount of weight in the past year. It's not like I was super huge, but sleeping for almost 2 years does put the weight on! I still count calories. That's all I do. I eat anything I want and I make sure I count EVERYTHING, and it's paid off. Unfortunately, I haven't really started exercising yet. I was exercising occasionally in December, but I haven't since I got sick at the end of Dec. Right now I'm actually wearing a pair of jeans I wore when I was a senior in high school. (Yes I still have them, and the only holes are INSIDE the pockets.) They are these pencil leg skinny things. Unbelievable that I can even get them on! So, I'm thinner, but no muscle, which is always attractive. *rolls eyes* My motivation to work out is up there w/my motivation to start listening to my class lectures. My class doesn't "officially" start until Saturday, so I won't beat myself on the head about that until after Saturday.
Speaking of class, I gotta go call the Bursar's office and find out if they got my check, and tell them they are complete morons who are not environmentally conscious at all, for sending me 3 packages w/bills in them. (UWGB considers themselves quite an environmental school...) HA!
**Re: tagboard. It doesn't ALWAYS load slow. It's had problems the last couple days. It didn't load at all for a while, neither did Jaz's, and then they loaded slow, but the last couple times I've pulled up my page it loaded just fine... So I guess it's temperamental... I have a high speed connection and am having no problems today. It never loads as fast as other tagboards, but there usually is only about 5 second delay...

It Was Recently Discovered That Research Causes Cancer In Rats
OK, my school is exceedingly paranoid about getting their tuition money. I already paid it, but I received THREE bills from them today! How anal is THAT?! And each bill came w/about 7 pages of other junk... tons of wasted paper and postage on their part. If they stop billing students three times apiece, they'd save tons of money! And maybe tuition would go down. I'm glad to see my tuition money going toward something practical. *cringes*
I have put off starting my taped lectures yet another day. I'm da Master Procrastor! (Procrastinator didn't rhyme...) I also found out that I have no particular time frame in which to take each test, as long as I take them all by the course completion date. Good thing I'm in a different frame of mind than I was back when I was in college before, as I'd probably wait until the last week, listen to all the lectures, read the whole book, and take all 3 exams the last day... Can you say CRAM!
I got my info to start my web page, which isn't going to be anything for anyone to look at... just somewhere to put photos so I can load them to my blog. So hopefully there will be kitty pics here and there soon! So far, the whole thing boggles my mind. FTP? umm... Isn't that motor oil? ;-)
We're supposed to get 4" of snow tonight... ugh... It's already a big-ass pain to back into our driveway. We back in as the driveway is very long, it's really thin to begin with, and there are already four foot snowbanks along the sides, which makes it more difficult. Now four more inches... I have to drive to GB tomorrow for an appt., so I hope the weather is half way decent by the time I have to leave. This has been one of the coldest, snowiest winters in several years. I like having snow, but it can stop now... Enough thank you!

Latest Surveys Show That 3 Out of 4 People Make Up 75% of the World's Population
I'm up way to early again, and I just had 4 of these chocolate peanut butter things I made a few days ago (I took them out of the safe... big mistake), so I'll probably be a sugar spaz for a while. I figured I might as well blog. We got another ton of snow last night, but at least Mr. Hype plowed it already.
FYI for Flemmy: Let me sort of TRY to describe GWAR. They wear elaborate costumes that make the Orcs from LOTR look pretty, and they have a lovely stage show that includes a lot of blood and fake disembowlments (that look real, btw). Their music? Harshish? I guess? I had an album... (back in ye' olde days of vinyl), but I remember I didn't listen to it all that often. Some of my friends who were in bands loved them and saw them several times.
So let's see... Yesterday I went out to lunch with my mom (at The House of Misspelled Entrees), which I spoke of before. Our waitress was a worse waitress than I ever was! WAY! She only had a couple of tables, but by the time we were done eating, she still hadn't been around to our table since she served us. grrrr! I HATE bad service. I guess I don't need to say that. I'm always griping about bad service. We were supposed to get dessert w/our meal (we were too full anyway), but we were sitting there and sitting there and she was no where to be found. The guy who refills coffee came by and we asked for boxes to take our leftovers, and we asked for the large ones as we had a lot of food left over, and we asked if he could get our waitress to bring us our bill... (at this point we had our coats on...). He first brought us small boxes, then we pointed at our leftovers and told him we needed larger boxes, so he brought them. He didn't really speak English, (Armenian), so no biggie, but of course he also didn't understand that we wanted our bill either. So we just walked to the cash register and the guy at the register asked for our bill and we told him we didn't get it, and the waitress ran over and gave it to him. She didn't even apologize or anything. I would have given her a much shittier tip than my mom did. I usually tip more than her (20%) if the service is good, but if it's not??? NO TIP FOR YOU! Well, like I said, it would have been more like 10%... at most... When I got back, I actually remembered to unplug the outdoor Christmas lights finally.
Also, on the way over there, we passed by this bright pink house that we always drive by... horrid pink... which is NOT a color anyone paints anything up here. It's tacky and ugly as hell. I recall someone telling me that people of some particular (peculiar?) religion paint their homes these bright tacky colors as a part of their religion. (The First United Church of Tacky?) I don't know WHY? Maybe to scare away evil spirits? It scares away everyone else I'm sure! And I haven't confirmed that this is the case either. But if anyone knows of such a religion, let me know. I'm pretty curious about that.
My kitty Kuroneko (aka "the special needs kitty" :P ) has decided he likes snow a lot. He runs out the door every chance he gets and he tries walking in the backyard which is hysterical, as the snow is so deep he sinks up to his shoulders, and he'll move a little bit, take a tiny step and then sink, over and over. He's all black too, so the contrast is pretty funny. It's like watching a very very very slow moving black otter go thru white snow. (I know that doesn't make a lot of sense, but it's pretty accurate.) I got the boyz new water and food bowls yesterday. The stainless steel kind that are two in a base. Two of them... so I can put water in two, and food in two, and now they can't dump their water all over. I also replenished their furry colored mouse supply. I know we have dozens around, it's just that we can't find them... A few under the oven, a few under the fridge, a few under the washing machine. We're still minus about 30. Ahhh I'm going to go down and see how the little blobs are doing right now!

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe...
LISTENING TO: Alice in Chains-Dirt
Our snow has started now. Yippee. 3-5" but I bet it will be at least 5"...
I didn't watch the 2nd half of the Super Bowl, (the first half was so boring), and of course it was "maybe the best Super Bowl ending ever" according to Mr. Hype, and everyone else. Figures... We didn't see the Janet Jackson thing. How damn obnoxious is that. Accident my ass! Anything for media attention... Pathetic...
I actually had a lot to blog about, however I'm not in blog mode right now I guess. So it goes...
