~~Early Happy Easter to All! AND.... ~~
I GOT AN "A"!!! I GOT AN "A"! *SCREAMING IN BLOOREGARD Q. KAZOO'S VOICE AS WELL AS DANCING LIKE HIM*!!! I don't BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!! I SOOOOOOOOOOOO rock!!!
I ran out of time at the end of the exam and couldn't really do shit as far as the 2nd essay went... I got one wrong for multiple choice, and 2 points off out of a total of 50 for the essays! *FAINTS AND STARTS DANCING AGAIN!!*
I did that third of a semester in a couple days!!! I have the last 3rd to do prior to March 31. I have read 20 pages so far and listened to no lectures... Talk about last minute cramming! 2/3 of a semester in a few days?! I don't work on this stuff daily either. It's sort of occasionally while watching TV....
DAMN I RULE!!!!!
Sorry... I don't mean to be so blatantly immodest, however, I'm in shock!!!!! :D
*'Doin' the Bloo!*
And now... the requisite quiz!
Take the quiz: "Devil or Angel?"
Black Angel You'd be a Black angel, Mostly nice, but you can get angry and evil at times... You do not care for some things, but you love to have fun.

~Snow Goons!~
Mr. H. found his old Calvin and Hobbes comic book w/the Snow Goons, and if the snow doesn't melt and I get my homework done, we'll probably make some! We're going to impale them w/all the "Join AOL" cds I've saved up and I wanted to put red food coloring dripping from the eyes and slashes, and spray H2O to freeze it, but we have little kids in the neighborhood so I don't know if it's a good idea...
 you are calvin.

~Higher Ground~
I'm a bit pissed off right now. After 2 years of dealing w/the city engineers, they sent us the easement info to sign to get our mini-sewer so our yard wouldn't turn into a lake half the year. When I spoke to the ONE OTHER couple who had to sign an easement, because the pipes only went thru both our yards, they were all for it. Now THE EMEFFERS BACKED OUT!! For various vague reasons... The lady there said "Why don't you just put dirt in your back yard and build it up like the previous neighbors next to you?" I told her that we would have to do that, but did she realize that would put the lake in HER back yard? She said "Well if you angle it...". Yeah... if we angle it, they'll have the swamp. Fine by me. It won't be this year. Surprisingly, dirt is NOT dirt cheap! We cant' afford the dirt this year. *snickers @ the concept* All I know is that I'm going to start the grading from about 3 feet up to the edge of the house and angle it down... Yes, Mt. Hype in the backyard. Everyone else can flood and we can ski! (OK, it would be pathetic to ski on a 3' hill but you get my point.) Sonofoabitch!!!
We're getting a snowstorm today to continue for the next 2-3 days, but we might get 7" or more. As you go south, they're getting less and there will be rain/snow mix, so I'm concerned about Mr. H. driving home tonight. (FYI, his drive is an hour from the south to the north.) Oh, I did mention on my taggie and in my last comments, (but since no one's been here since, I'll mention it again...): The Sheraton where the mass shooting happened was where Mr. H.'s co-worker was working. He wasn't working that room (THANK GOD!). He was working some other sales convention/meeting thing. Get this: A MASS SHOOTING GOING ON, THE ENTIRE HOTEL LOCKED DOWN, NO ONE IN, NO ONE OUT, COP CARS AND AMBULANCES EVERYWHERE, COPS EVERYWHERE, CORPSES TOO and the meeting Mr. H.'s co-worker was working NEVER STOPPED! They just continued their company presentation!!! :-o Crikey! Talk about ruthless business!
I have to finish my reading and lectures today and take my exam before Monday. Monday I have the last third of my semester to do and have to take the exam before the 31st. Logistics require me to take it next weekend. Then I have to return their broken, smashed tapes back to them. I don't know why they even want them back! The reading is pretty interesting, actually. I guess I probably would like this ('cept the Dylan part) if I was IN class rather than taking notes from lectures on tapes. Whatever class I take next, it will NOT be online or @ home! Bleah!
I've made so much chocolate... (Hundreds of pieces? Yeah, for sure...), and I tend to do that when I'm awake rather than my homework, but since today is CRUNCH DAY (sorta sounds tasty, but it's NOT!), I will be doing the rest of my class first. I've made tons of different chocolates... Mr. H. has been bringing the mistakes to work, (like the decapitated teddy bears), and some of the filled chocolates and everyone is LOVING them! (One guy jumped up and down and said "It has chocolate AND raspberry in it!) You can't tell what's in them by looking @ them and I don't have them labeled. Life is like a box of chocolates, you never... ah... never mind...
You are a fire angel! Very headstrong and willful, you can accomplish anything you want. You are constantly doing something and therefore have no time for anything else! But you are like a flame, burning with energy and happiness, then gloomy and depressed.
Which natural angel are you? (awe-inspiring pics!) brought to you by Quizilla

Lost: Circadian Rhythm/Mass Shootings Too Close to Home...
So I've gotten into a bad habit. I fall asleep mega-early at night, and get up at or before 5am. This is just twisted! My circadian rhythm is gone. If anyone finds it let me know! My equilibrium is gone too! I seem to be horizontal more often than vertical! I used to stay up until 3am and get up around 11am. I like that better! This is just weird... Right now Mr. H. is sleeping in and I'M awake?! This is a milestone. He ALWAYS gets up before me. This is probably all due to a new medication switch. >-( I wish it was all about the bling bling, but it's all about the damned medication! Can't wait for my body to get used to the switch and hopefully sleep NORMAL hours... normal for me that is. This would work if I had a job, but I don't.
Since I'm up early, it's back to the chocolate candy making! I might as well do something fun. :-) I REFUSE to study on a weekend when Mr. H. is home, as he's been working O.T. a lot lately. Yesterday he was at a job when they heard on the news that 13 people had been shot at the Sheraton in Brookfield (a suburb of Milwaukee). Seven died. Perhaps more by now. I haven't checked the news. Anyway, Mr. H. and his co-workers work at the Sheraton ALL THE TIME and they had a guy out there when this happened, and everyone panicked. After a lot of anxiety, the guy called them and it turned out he was at the OTHER Sheraton in Brookfield, (which, I don't think anyone else knew existed). So everyone was relieved. However, it's scary to know that your husband could have been working that gig. (It was a regular get together for some church, and it isn't unreasonable that people from my husband's work would be working a gig like that doing lights or taping for the congregation.) To think that kind of thing happens where your hubby could be working sometime is really a nerve wracking thing... I mean, they COULD have been there working THAT particular job and been shot! I don't even want to think about it. :*( HERE is the story. Damn...

~NEARLY LOST YOU~
Did you hear the distant cry Calling me back to my sin Like the one you knew before Calling me back once again
I nearly, i nearly lost you there And it's taken us somewhere I nearly lost you there Let's try to sleep now
Drag me far enough to know I'm blind every mile that you burn There's a rider that's fallen and It's clear there's no time to return
I nearly, i nearly lost you there And it's taken us somewhere I nearly lost you there Well let's try to sleep now
Did you hear the distant lie Calling me back to my sin Like the one you knew before Calling me back once again
I nearly, i nearly lost you there And it's taken us somewhere I nearly lost you there Well let's try to sleep now I nearly lost you there I nearly lost you I nearly lost you there I nearly lost you there I nearly lost you there Oh yeah, nearly lost you there...
I took a cue from Milo and posted a song...

~~Bumming~~
I'm bumming today. I sent a few pics of myself to some people who wanted to see what I look like (and some who didn't, I suppose), and my college roommate sent me back an e-mail telling me I looked too skinny and that I look older! Well, since we haven't seen each other in 11 years I would THINK I look older! And then Gaz said he'd send some ugly pics of himself to me. (My take is him pointing out that my pics really were ugly). No one else made any comments really, so I guess that's a way of saying (ewwww... gross...). So, I'm bumming... Wish I never sent the pics... *sorbs*

~Geek USA~
OK, so I DIDN'T make it back to my blog yesterday, however since no one read it, it doesn't matter, ne? The problem is I've been on this headache medication for over a year and am having rebound headaches WHILE I'm on the stuff because I've become tolerant. So, to break the cycle and stop the rebound headaches until they're gone on their own, my neurologist prescribed two meds I have to take together. One is a muscle relaxant used mainly for people w/MS or spinal cord injuries, and the other is an anti-histamine that helps the other work better. I end up having to take this before noon most the time. IT KNOCKS ME INTO THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK AND I KONK OUT AND SLEEP FOR HOURS! (More than usual!) I mean sleep sleep sleep sleep sleep sleep! (I bet Nessa is getting jealous if she just read that! :P heheheh!) It wouldn't be so bad, however I have 3 WEEKS to do 2/3 of my class and finish it!!! And I can't stay awake! I have all the reading and 10 lectures (notes make it double the time) and 2 exams to take prior to the last day of the month!
So... I can't stay conscious, and when I am, I'm useless. If you read yesterday's post, I left as I spilled a soda all over. That was before I took the pills. I did it again in the afternoon after taking those meds. I spent eons using this liquid and powder stuff going over the carpet stains. It's this stuff you leave on 24 hrs and works wonders, but I could hardly move because there were so many powdered spots it was seriously like playing hopscotch. I kept stepping in it so I vacuumed up most of it yesterday evening. I went thru 2 bottles of the powder and there are still a ton of stains. I hate my carpet.
COOLEST THING ABOUT LAST WEEKEND!!! Saturday my sister and I went to a four hour lecture/certification thing (Tom Skilling--WGN weather was one of the lecturers, plus people from the Nat. Severe Storm Forecasting Ctr., etc.), and now I'm certified by the National Weather Service as a severe storm spotter. That four hours went by like 2 minutes. I LOVE meteorology. Why the HELL am I an econ. major? I'll never use it. *sigh* So this lecture was amazing... Too bad my sucky class isn't like that or I'd have been done the first 3 days. My sister's town (suburb of Chicago kinda) was leveled by a tornado in 1990, so there were hundreds of people there. Storm chasers and such. I think we were the only ones w/out ham radio antennas on the car. Apparently, this tornado was likely the worst tornado EVER in the US. Dr. Fujita (who the tornado severity scale is named after-- F-1 thru F-5, and the foremost expert on tornados ever...now deceased...) went over the damage area in a helicopter as they always do to assess damage, which he's done thousands of times and said to Tom Skilling that this was the worst he's ever seen. So, I'll stop talking about this, as I'm sure it bores the hell out of everyone but me. (I've been studying tornados since I was a kid.)
We borrowed a lightbox from Mr. H.'s place of work. It has the strength of the sun or more, (5600 kelvin). K isn't temp. in this instance. It's light spectrum, etc. The sun is just over 5000 K, it may be exactly 5600 K, but I'm not really sure. They don't use it much for gig lighting, so it was lent to us. Anyway, there are 4 bulbs, 1600 watts either total or per bulb. God I hope it's not per bulb!!!! So when the weather sucks I turn it on when I'm in the living room for an hour or two. We may get one for me to use from Sept. thru April... (SAD). So far, I love it!
About colloidal silver: That shit is EXPENSIVE! Colloidal silver is a type of silver suspended in water usually found at health food stores. Many people take it orally daily for different ailments. It's supposed to be an anti-viral. Well, my sis and hubby make their own using silver, distilled water and an electric current I believe, and they've been putting it in their bonsai. Mine has had serious algae problems. MEGA! One of my plants has been killed by it and there is slime where the water trickles down and also all around the bowl and on the rocks. You get the idea. Theirs is SPOTLESS!! Perfectly clean. They put colloidal silver in theirs regularly. OK, I called some health stores... This stuff is $15-$30+ for FOUR OUNCES!!!!! And I'm supposed to dump a half gallon or so in there!! *faints* Anyhoo, I'm buying 8 oz. to tide me over until my sis and hubby can make some extra for me, and my mom can bring it back next time she goes down there. It's worth it, because taking apart the bonsai fountain, pulling out plants, washing all the rocks, trimming roots, de-sliming the pump, scrubbing the bowl, etc. is a very time consuming job... (Not to mention bloody.) So, I can't wait to get it!
Mr. H. has the day off and we're going to GB later to my mom's and I'm getting 8 oz of colloidal silver to start off with. I suppose I have to tear apart the bonsai and clean it all prior to putting the colloidal silver in... That will suck...
Well, damn... This exceedingly long post has read like a science lesson, hasn't it? It will probably be my longest for a long time. I haven't posted in a while.
I can't find much in the way of quizzes, so here's a random quiz:

Quick Before I'm Unconscious!!
Greetings! I was unable to update while at my sister's as she has a regular keyboard, which I am completely unable to type on since I've been using an ergo for about ten years now. If I ever get a job where I have to use a puter, I'll have to bring my own keyboard I guess...
Anyhoo... It was a great break to get away and stay at my sister's for a few days. Jaklyn is so cute and funny! She followed me everywhere and said I was her best friend and she loved me and she kissed me all the time. She's the sweetest little girl! I love that little niece of mine! Despite some of the trouble she gets in. She saw my nail polish and really liked the "sparkles" and of course eventually she took a blue marker and colored in her nails (and her fingers, etc.)! And, if people think I'm bad, she NEVER stops talking! I also learned a hell of a lot about Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. I was pissed because I bought her a $7 Thomas balloon and in less than 24 hrs it was deflating... >-(
Rachel is a doll! So cute! And loud! She was having tummy aches or gas or something quite a bit so she cried a lot while I was there. She's super adorable though!
Oh SHIT! I just spilled an entire soda on the floor... gtg for now. More later... Ah... Crikey...
